This mail will be quick – just a piece I finished last night when I was feeling good, with notes from when I was feeling bad.
Then my day had gone haywire.
My past 24 hours since then has been distressing to say the least, but I’m deciding to still send this out. I need that little treat more so than ever, and I figured someone else might need it too.
It’s been a long day. (Dare I say week, month, even year.)
There are so many little treats I held back on. Well, I am highly aware that I am a person who is hard on herself. Eldest daughter in an Asian family trauma and all. I made this to allow myself to be selfish at times, even when it feels like I shouldn’t. Or that I can’t.
“You deserve that little treat.”
And you don’t deserve the bad things happening to you. Sometimes, bad things just happen to not-so-bad people.
